Three kinds of message are useful. A correction: name the article, quote the sentence and point to the public source that contradicts it. A source: send a catalogue, a press release, a court filing, a customs notice or a workshop document that bears on the pre-owned and unworn market, and say whether it may be cited. A question: ask about a condition term, a reference check, a movement number or a service record, and include the reference and the country of the sale, because both change the answer.

The editors read every message. A reply is not promised, and no reply time is given, because the magazine is edited by a small team alongside its research. Messages that ask for a valuation, a grading, an authentication or an introduction to a dealer cannot be answered, as the publication sells nothing and does not act as a trader. Messages that name a private individual, or that carry personal data about a seller or a buyer, are deleted without a reply.
